THE ALPENHOF, Teton Village

The Alpenhof features rooms with hand-carved Austrian furniture. Dolomite Rooms have one Queen bed. Bavarian Rooms offer a King bed or two Double beds. Tyrolean Rooms include a King bed or two Queens and semi-private balconies. Alpine Fireplace Rooms have a King bed, sleeper sofa, and balcony. The Alberg Family Suite includes one bedroom with a Queen bed, a jetted tub and a full bathroom; the second bedroom has two Queen beds and a bathroom; the living room has a Queen size sofa bed, a wet bar with a small refrigerator, a table, and chairs. The Jungfrau Jr. Suite features a King bed, wood-burning fireplace, heated tile floor, heated towel rack, and jetted tub with a large semi-private deck. The Edelweiss Jr. Suite includes a King bed, a fireplace, a wet bar with a small refrigerator, heated tile floors, heated towel racks, His & Her vanity areas, and a jetted tub in the bathroom, plus a balcony and large semi-private deck.

The Alpenrose dining room features a tiled fireplace. Specialities include Wiener and Jäeger Schnitzel, Wiener Rostbraten, Bauern Platte, and Jäeger fondue. The Alpenhof Bar & Bistro offers casual dining, microbrews, and a wine list. The bistro offers apres ski, including live music. The Alpenhof Restaurant opens in winter for public dinners and year-round for private events.

The Alpenhof provides ski-in, ski-out access to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, located 50 yards from the Jackson Hole Tram. Guests have access to a heated outdoor pool, a Jacuzzi, and a Finnish sauna. Nomad Sports, located inside The Alpenhof, provides skis from Kästle, Nordica, Head, and Atomic, plus snowboards, boots, poles, and helmets. Front desk staff can arrange snowboarding, dog sledding, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and sleigh rides into the National Elk Refuge. Local outfitters offer horseback riding adventures. Musical events are held Tuesday through Saturday, with full symphony on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Alpenhof is located in Teton Village, 5 km from Jackson Hole. It's near the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram and Gondola Rides (0.3 km) and Rendezvous Mountain (5 km). Grand Teton National Park's entrance is two miles from the hotel. Yellowstone National Park is an hour's drive. From the town of Jackson: Take Hwy. 22 west out of town and then head north on Hwy. 390 approximately 7 miles to Teton Village. Shuttle buses take air passengers directly to the Alpenhof from the airport.
